You definately need to talk to him about it all and see if he really is going to commite suicide. then tell him how much he means to you and everything.
Then if its okay with him you need to tall the police or social services or child abuse about his dad. Then he needs to tell the teachers at school about him been bullied or he could move to a different school to have a fresh start and everything.
But you need to do this fast before he does commite suicide

The best thing you can ever do for such a friend is to pray for them. Who are you to think you can heal them by doing anything in your strength? You know? It is only possible in the name of Christ to heal someone of the pain that is leading to suicidal thoughts. It is the power of Christ that can lead your friend’s dad to break down and repent. It is the power of Christ that gives you strength to survive the insults and hatred others throw at you. Because Christ endured, and He survived. Pray for your friend that He/She find Christ and enter into a realtionship of healing and restoration.
No counselor, police officer, or doctor can heal the root cause of grief.

tell the consular tell the cops he gets hit get him taken out of his home. He doesnt have to live with his jack *** dad and also remind him that nobody matters if they dont like him who cares your his friend who cares about him and by him killing himself you would be losing a great friend. Also you can call the yellow ribbon hot line http://www.yellowribbon.org/

My friend had a friend who was going to commit suicide and made MY friend promise not to tell ANYONE but she did anyway and now her friend is alive and does’nt have those dark thoughts anyomore and thanks MY friend for saving her from herself!
You should take him to a counsellor because most suicidal thoughts usually begin with being bullied at home OR school.
At school you should defend your friend if he really is your friend and tell him a reson to live is to experince all the good and happy things and LEARN from the bad tell him that all those people who make fun of him are just people who have nothing better to do, people who have NO LIVES!!
I really hopes that he decides not to commit suicide…:-((

Make sure that you’re always there to comfort him. When something happens, just make him feel better.
I wouldn’t recommend going to to counselor cause he’ll just think you think he’s nuts and he’ll feel abandoned and betrayed.
Get him to talk to someone.
Firstly, he needs to report his father to the Child Services
Second, he needs to a psychiatrist. Although you should always be there to listen to him, he needs someone who’s trained for this.
    Poor guy.

You need to let him know that your always there for him, and live up to it. I wouldn’t tell the counselor personally, but I would talk to him about reporting his Dad to child services and try to do something about his situation at home.

Tell the police , and depending on the state you live in, he can be committed by court order to get the help he is desperately crying out for.

talk him out of it and tell him it will get better, and stick up for him when people call him a loser, and talk to him about his dad… or join him…
