i have been diagnosed with the s word and have had the treatments forced upon me multiple times. i have finally been able to rid myself of court doctor appointed lawyers and represent myself.
and have been found cured by my own arguments at the hearing.

such a hurtful song to thos who suffer from schizophrenia. and a pretty dumb video at that.

  11. Octosong1, March 9, 2010:

The drugs for mental illness avaible now are better than the old drugs the song was based on. Where I live there are government aids to those with mental illness to help pay for living expenses and drugs. There are also food stamps and food pantries that give you food once a month. There are also organizations like NAMI that help people out. You should confide in someone you trust to help you find out what is available in your area. I wish you the best of luck.

You’re Welcome. Mental illness is tough for the patient as well as his family and friends. Let’s hope we live long enough to see a cure.

Hi Hunggar20! Getting off medication is tricky business and should be done slowly. My firend is doing well on low levels of Zyprexa for many years. I try to keep an open mind about natural meds but don’t know much about them. If what you are doing improves your life then go for it. However, if things are getting worse then it’s time to try another treatment.

  18. LYNXVAL, March 9, 2010:

weird song! someone has to sing about mental illness

  19. Hunggar20, March 9, 2010:

I wrote the words to this video. I’m glad that your condition has improved. The song was recorded in the early 1990′s. I hope more research goes into auditory halucinations and mental illness in general. I’m glad you liked the video. Usually, drug withdrawal is done gradually: If it’s done too quickly, you will experience symptoms. I wish you the best of luck.

  21. PsychosisUnitFM2, March 10, 2010:

This is one of the best videos I have seen on You tube. Who wrote the words?

I was put on Clozapine when I did not actually have psychosis but when I withdrew from clozapine I experienced very loud and frightening voices. I still hear voices seven years later, but they are very quiet thankfully.

  22. sudnaidu, March 10, 2010:

Give a normal person just a small experience of our minds, and they will flip out worse than anything you could even comprehend.

  23. sudnaidu, March 10, 2010:

This “love” and “normality” that you see on TV is artificially created – selfish people live in the lap of luxury, take away their possessions, their comfort, and lock them in a room and they will lose control worse than any of “us” would ever experience. We would probably just sit there in the room, they would be clawing at the walls in a wild panic, like the apes that they are inside.

  24. sudnaidu, March 10, 2010:

You need to fight the “voices” by developing your very own “voice” within your mind, that uses logic and reasoning to out-compete the other voices, to prove them all incorrect and dismember the feelings of depression which stem from the fact that many people harbour negative thoughts to many that they regularly encounter. Once you overcome the condition, you become practially invincible to external mental and emotional influence.

  25. sudnaidu, March 10, 2010:

These conditions are like “open brain syndrome” where all feelings are converted into words. Someone walks past you and does not like how you are dressed, then their negative emotion (and collective negative emotions of all those around you) will manifest as a “narrator” in your mind. Behind the “voice” is the feelings of those around you. Those trapped in the ego cannot separate themselves from verbal information in the mind.
