In the world of steroidal usage, the reasons as to occasion their usage are immense as the sand is to a beach. And as much as their usage are overtly immense, also are the adverse effects, which are mostly seen in times of steroids that are of an increasing nature. This is because in essence, steroids are not elements that should be used in a large capacity, their usage must and should be of optimum proportion, where the expected results are much oriented not on the steroids but exactly on aggressive bodybuilding instances. Anabolic steroids should be used as catalysts of immense body growth, but not as the growing agent.

Tough love is a term used to express when someone treats you strictly or firmly with the intent to help you in the long run. It is often used when dealing with addictions. People often use tough love to help an addicted loved one go to rehab to get help. What is the hope when your loved one goes to rehab? As sad as this dichotomy is, it gets worse. 96% of those surveyed profess a belief in God. 70% are active church members, and 77% of those believe they are going to heaven. How can this be? How can people who believe in God, who know adultery is wrong, still believe they are going to spend eternity with their Savior regardless of their disobedient behavior?

One of the greatest, but too often unspoken, dangers of teen drug use and addiction is the high risk of suicide that tends to accompany it. Teens who use drugs regularly are more likely to consider suicide as well as to act upon their thoughts. According to the American Psychiatric Association, many teens suffer from depression. In many cases, teens will often “self-medicate” with drugs in order to avoid exposing themselves and their problems to adults. The use of drugs does not alleviate the problems, but instead, usually aggravate them, leaving the teen with a feeling of helplessness and hopelessness. This places them at greater risk for suicide attempts. Drug use and dependency clouds judgment, and lowers the teen’s natural survival instinct. Full Story »
