In trying to solve a problem it seems logical to begin by trying to answer three basic questions. What exactly is the problem? How big is it? And how serious??
The problem is smoking. How big? The World population is between five and six billion. It is estimated that 25% of adults smoke. That is 1,300,000,000 smokers. Makes you wonder how sunlight ever breaks through! It is also estimated that half of the World’s children are exposed to second hand smoke. How serious is the problem? DEADLY! If I were to list all the terrible health results of smoking and the horrific ways in which smoking kills, this would be a very long article indeed. Suffice it to say that these deadly consequences are well beyond proven.?
Tough love is a term used to express when someone treats you strictly or firmly with the intent to help you in the long run. It is often used when dealing with addictions. People often use tough love to help an addicted loved one go to rehab to get help. What is the hope when your loved one goes to rehab? You hope your love one will stop a behavior that is dangerous, self-destructive or has the potential to ruin their life or even possibly kill them.
We surely must grant to the Jews, the original Hebrews the concept of a MONOTHEISTIC God. While that was a valuable and sure TRUTH, it was applied only as an outward or external concept. ONENESS didn’t apply to, ?we the people?,? living here on the planet. How do I know that? Look how many people we have killed- in the name of that monotheistic God.?
What part of “Thou shall not kill” do we not understand anyway?
Political rounds in the legal arena concerning the concept of self defense include two concepts that may make it easier for people to defend themselves and not have to worry about going to jail. Some states allow you to carry weapons on you and others allow you to shoot and kill an attacker. Find out what the laws are in your state so you know exactly what you can do against an attacker and you will not be convicted of a crime.
The Castle Doctrine is a concept that enables any home owner to have the ability to defend themselves and their family members. This doctrine also provides protection on the property you reside on. This bill allows homeowners to use deadly force against a burglar or person that enters your home, from violent attack or an intrusion which may lead to violent attack. You do not have to fear prosecution for killing anyone who enters into your home with the intent of violent attack or an intrusion which may lead to violent attack.
